On a quiet Monday evening in mid-September, when many places were closed, we opted for a stroll in Pedaso, attracted by the excellent reviews on the Pizzeria da Sandro. This picturesque restaurant is located on a side street of the seafront, a few steps from the beach, and with the temperatures still pleasant, we chose to sit outside. Even though it was a Monday, the place had almost all the tables occupied, which is always a good sign. The paper menu was promptly delivered to our table, and we opted for a white pizza with onions and a 100% Italian chicken cutlet with fries. We accompanied everything with a delicious house red piceno, which turned out to be truly excellent. The service was courteous and incredibly quick. The cutlet was crispy and well fried, while the fried potatoes were crispy and tasty. The pizza, however, was truly delicious, with sweet onions and a crunchy, tasty dough. At the end of the dinner, I realized that there were pizzas off the menu, written on the blackboard. The one that particularly struck me was the white pizza with Pedaso red onion, mozzarella, gorgonzola and crispy bacon, which I will definitely be back soon to taste. The bill was surprisingly small, which is always a plus. Compliments to Pizzeria da Sandro for an unforgettable dining experience in Pedaso.
