Super good food and the staff working there where super friendly it’s atmosphere is great I like a small restaurant that doesn’t do the fancy stuff but tastes as good as the fancy places this spot is a 10/10 Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had an issue with a previous order where my food arrived spilled inside the bag. I reported it through Grubhub after being prompted to rate my experience, since I had a legitimate issue to share I did reach out. I was not expecting a full refund or anything extra. I originally just wanted to let them know what happened. I actually ordered an additional item with my meal, so I wasn’t trying to get anything over on the restaurant. When I tried ordering again last night, the order was canceled, so I called to ask about it and was told by a female worker it was a menu issue. I placed the same order again the next day because I still wanted the food and believed it was a technical/menu issue like I was told. However, that order was also canceled. When I called again immediately after, I was told by the owner, in a rude and dismissive tone, that it was because I had previously complained and that I should not order there again. I tried calling back afterward to calmly explain what happened and understand the situation, but I was still met with a dismissive attitude and was hung up on again. Both phone interactions I had were with the owner. To be clear, this was my first and only issue with this restaurant. I was still willing to give them another chance after a one-time mistake, but instead I was told not to return for reporting a legitimate issue. In my experience, most restaurants allow customers to provide feedback and address mistakes without being told not to come back, especially when the issue was on the restaurant’s end. I found the overall experience unprofessional and disappointing. Service: 1

THEY SERVE REAL JAPANESE SUSHI!! THE BEST IVE HAD IN RHODE ISLAND I came here a few other times. I forgot how good this place was until I came back again today. The people are so nice. It’s so sad how this place is hidden and lowkey because the food is so amazing!!! They deserve more recognition. I got a shrimp tempura and before Ive had their poke bowls and gyozas when I tell you I haven’t been able to find a good authentic sushi spot in Rhode Island until now. I had already given them a tip BUT after eating, I had to go back in to give an even bigger tip!!! I talked to the people as well and they’ve been open for 17 years. The people are from Haruki. They are really such good and genuine people and you can tell they make their food with love. Everyone needs to come here!!
