රැවටෙන්න එපා disappointed I visited Dampa Seafood in Colombo after seeing their popular marketing videos, which showed impressive seafood platters — especially with mussels included. The presentation looked great, so I was excited to try it. We ordered the main seafood platter for around 13,000 LKR, and with some extras like roast paan and taxes, the final bill came to over 16,000 LKR. For that price, I expected a full seafood experience just like what was shown in their videos. However, there were no mussels included in our platter, even though they were clearly shown in their marketing. After the meal, I simply asked the staff about it. මම- mussels(බෙල්ලෝ) add කරේ නැත්තේ ඇයි? Staff එකේන් - මිස්ට mussels ගෙදර අරන් යන්නද ඕන... මම- නෑ මම අහන්නේ ඔයාලගේ marketing videos වල තියනවානේ mussels තියනවා කියල. කෝ ඒවා තිබ්බේ නෑනේ... Staff එකේ boy කෙනෙක්- ආ මිස් අද mussels ඉවර වෙලානේ... මට ඉතින් හිනා ගියේ හංදියේ පෙට්ටි කඩෙත් මෙහෙම chickenවත් ඉවර වෙන්නේ නෑ රෑ 12 ගියත් ගන්න ඕන තරම් කෑම තියනවා කියල.... Honestly, I just smiled and walked out — I didn’t want to make a scene. ඒත් ඇයි එහෙම අපි කට වහන් ඉන්නේ.. එයාල ගානක් නැතුව ලොකු ගානකුත් අරන් එහම කරන්නේ... plus තව කෙනෙක් රැවටෙන එක නවතිනවා. And to influencers — please don’t promote things just for money. Be responsible. You never know the disappointment people go through after following your recommendation This should have been mentioned before we placed the order, not after the meal and payment. I felt misled, and honestly, the overall experience was not worth the price we paid. There are better seafood options in Sri Lanka with more transparency and value for money. I hope Dampa improves their honesty and communication with customers going forward.

Ordered a Tom Yum soup and it was HORRIBLE. The portion literally had just ONE prawn and ONE cuttlefish and when I called and complained they said that is the standard amount included in a portion. Not worth the money at all! Would never order again neither will I recommend to anyone!
