Shocked at how good a simple hotdog can be. Short wait, but even if there was a line around the block it'd be worth it. Back two nights in a row for the Vienna beef on the Poppyseed bun. Add celery salt on top, and whatever the owner recommends: listen. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: 13 Combo, Big Cookies, Hot Dog - Vienna Beef

The best hotdog around, don't be afraid to order a beef, or even just a Lil OR slider for a taste. Theres an incredible combo deal where you get 3 items for $13 bucks. It's $5 a hotdog, but I'd pay $20. My therapist said I needed to try the Dank Beef sandwich with spicy giardiniera, and she was not wrong. I have no context for what traditional Chicago Italian beef is like, but the food here was an impeccable balance of flavors, rich and delicious accented with pops of vinegar, salt, and spices. Plus, the owner is just SO FRIENDLY. I haven’t met someone this happy to talk cooking techniques with a customer since I left NC. The food isn’t fast, but that’s because it’s made with care, and it’s worth every minute of the wait. I’ll be back! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
