We ordered two different sets of fried rice and they were both served cold (felt like pre made and then came out from microwave with not enough minutes). Also the fried chicken was not freshly served. We have been frequent customers there but not so sure what happened to their kitchen. Would appreciate if chef could clarify this. Satay chicken and nasi goreng highly recommend, the staff are very kind and helpful for suggestions, portion is big as you can see, great value. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–40

Dapur Van Java in Victoria Park is a great spot for authentic Indonesian cuisine! The variety on their menu is excellent, offering a great selection of dishes. We ordered the Indonesian fried rice with fried chicken and eggs, the Ayam Penyet Kremes Set, and the Nasi Campur Padang. Our favourite was definitely the Nasi Campur Padang – it's the real winner here! The crispy fried lung (paru goreng garing) was incredibly delicious, and the rendang was perfectly cooked and flavourful. The sambal for the Ayam Penyet was also very tasty. The fried rice was decent. Overall, the tastes are truly authentic, making it feel like a little piece of Indonesia in Perth. Recommend!
