Takeout container was 1:3 full. For a vegetarian meal it's not really enough to feel full. I ordered online and paid for a mango lassi, however it was sold out. For me the meal is not complete without the lassi, and I wouldn't have made the order if I'd known it was not available. Other places might include a small token in the order to compensate for their mistake, but not here.

I've never been to India, but lived in London, which has some of the world's best Indian restaurants. The Chicken Tikka Masala I had at Darbaar was in that range. It's a tiny one-man run Takeaway where up to 6-7 people may sit by two tables, just about comfortably enough to enjoy a very authentic South-Indian/Pakistani cuisine. The choice of dishes is limited, which makes perfectly sense for a one-man show. The owner/chef is friendly and every piece of meal is made from scratch and of good quality. We were 3 people, two of them rather picky vegetarians who are not easily made happy in a restaurant. Well, they were at Danbaar. The portions were just perfect. I'm a 90 kg. man, and I was full after one dish with a side of Naan bread and a delicious Mango Lassi. Well-fed, but not stuffed. Some reviews call it expensive... Welcome to Copenhagen. But let me tell you, Danbaar is one of the, quite possibly, the cheapest Indian restaurant in the capital - and, from what I've experienced, one of the best. Looking forward to my next visit, whenever I get close to the airport. Price per person: kr 500–600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
