Dru, thank you! We’re so glad you chose Darling Glebe for such a joyous birthday celebration. Judging by the evidence, the desserts understood the assignment. The duck has been carrying itself with suspicious confidence since being named your highlight, while the pâté, crème brûlée, chocolate fondant and oeufs à la neige are still debating who gave the strongest performance. Jack was especially chuffed to be singled out, and our sommelier will be pleased the wine recommendation hit the spot. Your 10/10 for ambience has also had the room sitting up a little straighter. Judee, what a wonderful review. Thank you! The French onion soup has been walking around wrapped in a cosy little glow ever since being described as a hug in a bowl. The escargot en cocotte was equally delighted to hear its snails were allowed to speak for themselves, rather than hiding behind the pastry lid. We're especially pleased you enjoyed the French Omakase experience. The menu loves taking guests on a journey and it sounds as though it found a very appreciative travelling companion.
