I have never checked to see that weight was correct before, but sometimes I've thought a package was light, for what was ordered. I didn't look at the price per lb when I ordered. When i got home, the fish felt clearly light for 2lbs. I checked it this time. It was 1.12 lbs including the paper packaging, not 2lbs. The cost $26.08. ($23.28 lb for haddock) The popcorn shrimp was an additional $7.99 for a little less than 1/2 lb. So $36.79 for 1.6 lbs order.
Larry was not there this time. I don't know if that mattered. This makes me wonder how many times over the years I may have overpaid. It's not hard to find a good fish store in Rochester.
I could have driven all the way back to get the bill corrected. Instead I'll just order from one of the many other choices available. I don't know if this was intentional, or not. I'm sure though that the owner would never cheat his customer. He's a good man. Today I was for the first time an unhappy customer.????????
