We had a stop on our way to Amsterdam. The place has a Michelin and we looket forward to a romantic and delicious stay. However the place is somewhat run down. The room area upstairs is in strong need of an upgrade. The dinner was good with good service, but with a M-guide you would not expect carb shells or hair in the food. Upon mentioning this, the comment was that the chef “has a lot of hair.” Service: 3

Are you looking for a relaxing culinary outing in a beautiful natural environment? Then go to Landhuishotel de Bloemenbeek. We booked a package with a four-course vegetarian menu with an overnight stay. Everything was perfectly taken care of. The welcome with a glass of bubbles, the opportunity to use the swimming pool and sauna and the vegetarian menu (with a literal look into the kitchen) was creative and very tasty. Everything was attentive and taken care of down to the last detail. You don't often experience this in the Netherlands. The hotel rooms are modern, spacious and very quiet. The surroundings are beautiful, with a highlight of walking in the Lutterzand nature reserve, where the Dinkel makes steep sandy slopes. In short, go here and enjoy Twente hospitality.
