I recently stayed at your this campsite for one week, and unfortunately, my experience wasn't so satisfactory. I feel it is important to share my concerns, as the conditions greatly affected my family’s comfort and health. The mobile home we stayed in was not clean upon arrival. There was mold on the ceiling in the toilet, dust on the sockets and under the bed. My son suffers from asthma, and he began coughing during our stay. At first, I didn’t understand why, but after noticing the mold and dust, it became clear that this was the reason his asthma worsened. The aqua park area was unhygienic: the steps were very dirty with black spots. After using the aqua steps, my son developed a rash on his foot. He was left with only one pool to use, which made the vacation quite disappointing. Even the lake is unclean and has very bad smell. Overall, the cleaning standards across the site were below expectations. This experience was very different from my stay at Capfun Bongerd last year, which was absolutely amazing—everything was perfect then, and that is why I chose Capfun again. Sadly, this time was not the same.

The newly built chalet at Capfun de Sprookjescamping Rheeze did not meet expectations. Air vents on the floor caused daily moisture problems, clammy beds and clothing. Daily and long-term ventilation was necessary. Many insects (read: mosquitoes) came in despite control thanks to these air vents. Weak electricity when charging. Wobbly construction disrupts sleep. Cramped toilet and shower. Only plus: working air conditioning. Restaurant staff had difficulty taking orders and prices were high. Shows aimed at young children, many performers were missing. Not recommended for people with poor health. Not even for families with their healthy expectations about children's events and shows. Also not for everyone who wants a good night's sleep (read: with a wink). Playground: Lots of broken playground equipment, which was a shame. The rest is nicely decorated for the youngest children. Restrooms: The toilet in our chalet was dirty when we arrived. The toilets at the campsite were also not always cleaned.
