Debris Po-Boys & Drinks is a fantastic find for anyone craving authentic Louisiana flavors! The po-boys are piled high with perfectly seasoned meats and fresh, crispy toppings that make each bite incredibly satisfying. The casual, inviting atmosphere is perfect for hanging out with friends while enjoying a cold drink from their great selection. The staff is friendly and always ready to recommend their favorite dishes. If you’re looking for a taste of New Orleans, Debris Po-Boys is a must-try! Five stars for sure! If you’re hanging out in downtown Mobile and that po'boy craving hits, Debris Po-Boys & Drinks on Dauphin Street is pretty much the local HQ. It’s got that cool, rustic-meets-industrial vibe with a massive bar that stretches forever, and when the weather is right, they open up the front doors so you can soak in the LoDa energy. The Main Event: The Food. As the name suggests, the star here is the Debris Po-Boy. We’re talking roast beef that’s been slow-braised until it’s basically falling apart, soaked in its own pan drippings, and served on authentic New Orleans Leidenheimer bread (the gold standard for a reason). * The "Pro" Choice: If you aren't feeling roast beef, the Cochon de Lait (pulled pork) with Creole slaw is a heavy hitter, or you can go with the Oyster Rockefeller po'boy if you want to feel a little fancy. * The Secret Weapon: Don’t sleep on the pistolettes. They’re deep-fried rolls stuffed with things like crawfish or BBQ shrimp—perfect if you want the flavor without the "messy shirt" risk of a full-sized sandwich. The Drinks & Sides. Since "Drinks" is literally in the name, you’ve gotta try a cocktail. Their Hurricane is legit and uses premium rum, but honestly, even just grabbing a local craft beer and a side of their cheese grits or collards makes for a perfect afternoon. The Verdict.
