I recently tried the Pork Cubano sandwich at Deep End Subs and wanted to share my experience. The sandwich was a bit smaller than I expected for the price ($13, with chips and drinks sold separately). The description included green chile pulled pork, provolone, pickles, pickled red onions, and spicy mayo/mustard on a toasted baguette. In my order, the flavor was fairly mild overall. The pulled pork was the most noticeable component, though it tasted somewhat plain, and I didn’t really detect the green chile flavor or sauce. The pickles were minimal, and I didn’t see or taste the red onions mentioned. Based on the description and reviews, I was expecting a more flavorful and well-balanced sandwich. For the price and portion size, it didn’t feel like the best value for me personally, so I don’t think I would return.
