I've always loved Dees Restaurant, it's somewhere I've come for many years as a long-time Tehran resident. Unfortunately on this occasion while I was tucking into my vaziri kebab, I found myself disturbed by the unmistakeable sound of an American F-22 Raptor. I tried to continue eating through this distrubance and nearly managed to finish my kebab before the Raptor deployed on of it's AIM-9M/X sidewinder missiles toward the restaurant completely destoying it. This would not usually be a problem but the resulting dust and debris from the explosion made my kebab completely inedible. The inability of Dees Restaurant to keep me and my food safe from the combat capabilities of the US Air Force is an issue I've not had at any other restaurant and does go as a mark against it. However, the food has always been great and I've never had this problem before so I will still be returning. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1
