So I really hate having to do this but after going to the downtown location and have an absolutely wonderful first visit we decided to check out another location of the delectable egg. I am saddened to say this location hasn’t lived up the the downtown experience. Our waiter acted like he hated his job rolled his eyes multiple times as I was asking questions about a menu item. I asked for fresh soft cooked bacon. I explained to him I didn’t mind waiting because it would be worth it. Food comes out 30 mins later and I got cold old bacon. Eggs were over cooked and I asked for it to be remade with fresh bacon. I got an attitude from the server and he proceeded to in a condescending manor use my knife to stab my eggs and argue with me. I asked him if I could please just have my food remade. I then watched him grab my plates and go complain to the manager about how picky we were. When who I think is the manager comes and delivers my food my bacon was yet again old and cold. He said he didn’t see them cook it fresh but as far as he knows it was cooked fresh. Negative. Manager told me the old eggs looked like text book over medium eggs but they remade them just in case. Dude the server stabbed my eggs of course they are going to be remade.. he couldn’t grasp the fact that they didn’t cook me fresh bacon and when I asked for it to be removed from my check he rudely grabbed the plates and didn’t apologize for anything. Brought back the reciept with an attitude. I will never ever come back to this place ever again and I really hope it hasn’t soured my opinion of the brand as a whole. The server just came back as I was leaving this review. He apologized profusely. The manager doesn’t seem to care. Sad day. Also the wife said her bananas tasted super old. She ordered an eggs Benedict and the ham looked like it was out of a store bought lunchmeat package. And it was super salty. Took away from the meal.. So upset Server is Louis G on reciept don’t know what the managers name is. Yes they took my food off the bill. It I would have much rather had my belly full from my breakfast.
