Like so many others who have, actually, dined here I'm astounded it's still open. Our table was so wobbly there was a floor wedge on the wall trim next to our table-they knew and failed to repair! But we endured our waiter wedding our table somewhat still! Our waiter gave us menus including the drinks menu and immediately asked what we wanted to drink! After a couple minutes John arrived and upsold me to an Italian wine that was $15 for a glass but it was a short pour! The wine, a red, was delicious. By now our waiter had been back twice! We ordered drinks and started looking at the food offering when, you guessed it, our waiter presses us for food orders. We put him off again and did make a selection. Matt returned and delivered our drinks then pressed again for our food orders. The room was empty when we arrived and now a couple tables arrived. John returned and asked about the wine but being cordial left. We did get bread and oil delivered to the table. We get our appetizers and my ceasar salad was dressed with oil and vinegar! I'm sure that was a mistake but the waiter defended it! I sent it back! I want to say here, it's Valentine's Day, and this is a special date night! The food arrives and it's a constructed pile of spaghetti and sauce with two breaded veal parmigian cutlets covered with melted mozzarella or provolone cheese. Then our waiter said something kinda funny, asking it wed like some parmigian cheese? Really, I ordered Veal Parm, yeah I was parmigian on it! I was kind of put off now thinking they forgot the name sake cheese! My wife ordered chicken parm and said it was fine, but only ate half of one patty. My breaded veal tasted old, I mean stale and it could get! I got through one patty and could take another bite! This entre was more than $25 and a Wendy's single burger would have beat it in a blind tasting! Exasperated by now and the overwelming feeling of being rushed, we boxed my wife's dinner remains and my cutlet. The dinner was in excess of a hundred dollars and so completely underwhelming. We waited til they had gotten their act together but I guess that never happened. We won't ignore our experience and will ward friends away. Shame on you della Notte!
