Tried Desi Adda and really enjoyed the vibe! The owner was super welcoming and made the experience even better. We especially loved the authentic dishes, punugulu and stuffed bajji were so good. Definitely a nice spot to check out if you’re craving comforting Telugu-style snacks! Meal type: Other

I had only punugulu here and I dont know if someone from proper Andhra Pradesh would call this as authentic Andra style punugulu, instead most of the places call them mysore bajji. Its just all purpose flour, . If they call these punugulu I wonder what is their actual mysore bajji recipe is. Beside this What really disappointed me,, was the customer service experience afterward. I asked for badam milk, and the person taking orders told me they didn’t have any. At the same time, the lady beside him (possibly the chef) was offering fresh badam milk to other customers and saying she could make it fresh right then and there — all in front of him. I asked again, just to confirm, and he again said they didn’t have it. It felt very disrespectful and honestly quite insulting to witness that kind of selective behavior toward customers. The lady seemed especially generous and welcoming to people as they mentioned they were first-timers or complimented the food, while I was simply dismissed without any explanation. There may have been some miscommunication between the staff, but the person handling orders offered no clarification or response, which left a very negative impression despite the food being okay. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. This is the punugulu recipe we’ve been following for the past two years. There are various types of punugulu in Andhra Pradesh, and we have our own recipe for it. Regarding the badham, she was unaware that we were out of the badham milk, which is why she offered it to other guests. We never intended to be biased towards any customer. Thanks

This food truck is a proper hidden gem! Their punugulu is absolutely brilliant, super crispy outside, soft inside, and tastes exactly like the street food back home. But the real surprise was the paneer biryani; the rice is so aromatic and perfectly spiced, and the paneer is incredibly soft, not rubbery at all. Proper South Indian and totally worth the money!
