We visit DiCara's Deli frequently. The food is always fresh and delicious. We also find our favorite Italian specialty foods like Caponata Eggplant Appetizer and others like stuffed olives. My Family grew up in the North End and my Aunt had tears in her eyes when we had a DiCara's lunch together.

Went here for lunch today. The food was excellent however, because of what I saw we will never be back. After the Owner/Manager (he was an older guy and clearly in charge as he was directing all the staff) gave us our sandwiches he looked around for his staff. When he saw they all were out back he took money out of the tip jar. I could have passed it off as he was doing for a good reason that I didn’t know about had he just taken it. However, he clearly looked around to see if any employees were around and then he palmed it as he was trying to hide it. There was no mistaken he was stealing it. It’s such a shame as the food was really good but I can’t visit an establishment where I know the management is stealing from their employees it is just a shame
