Had the mixed plate. The worse BBQ I have had. No flavor and not tender. Been to many joints and there is far better.

We've passed by Dickey's many times since they opened and have meant to try it out. This Sunday we needed a quick bite and decided to give Dickey's a try. The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful with suggestions. We were pleasantly surprised by how flavorful the selections were. Beef brisket is my favorite and Dickey's did not disappoint. It was probably the best brisket I have tasted of all the BBQ places in the area (and quite a few have popped up in recent years)! I could also appreciate that it was lean, moist, and not overly salty (unlike other places we've tried), which really allowed the flavor of the sauces to enhance the meat perfectly. The pulled pork was on point and they have a great variety of sides as well. As for the sauces...there are several sauces in warmers. Not sure which one we liked the best as all were delicious and complimented each other and the meats nicely. The warming feature also added a nice touch. The corn bread pairs perfectly with the baked beans. Meanwhile the pecan pie literally melts in your mouth. Dickey's has some interesting specials so we will definitely return to try those. We really enjoyed the warm, welcoming ambience of Dickey's. Seriously, the staff make you feel like you're in their backyard and they're grilling just for you!

I like Dickey's BBQ. It's quick and easy and close to home. My daughter says they have the best Mac n cheese around. It is darn good. I think they do a good job with their beef brisket, pulled pork and poultry (chicken and turkey). All of the sides I have tried have been great as well. On this most recent visit I tried tacos. I had a brisket/cheese taco and a chicken/creamed spinach taco. Both were an awesome new way to enjoy some BBQ. I recommend trying the taco Tuesday deal.
