Small size finger serving breakfast and lunch. Though the atmosphere is dated wth old vinyl booth seats, there are tables and chairs. Myriad of coffee cups keep the strong coffee hot. Portions sizes are enough to satisfy that "starving" teenager wth the hollow leg. Food was very good! Service was very good! Somehow I ended up with fun stuck to my pants that transferred to my rental car seat. Not cool.

West Shine is probably the most "west side" restaurant that I can think of. The staff is 80% young adults and it kinda shows. The decor is "live, laugh, love" levels of kitsch. The water tastes bad (and I usually have no problem with Cincy tap water.) I'm pretty sure if a vegan walked in the door they would burst into flames like a vampire in church. But the food is artery-hardening levels of deliciousness. The portion sizes are potentially a violation of local obscenity laws. There's sausage gravy on 90% of the menu items. The breakfast stacks are not stacks, they are mountains. The mimosas are so large they might as well be served in a Big Gulp. I'm pretty sure the cinnamon bun has literally killed a man. This is one of the best brunch spots on this side of town. It's not for everyone but it hits just right for some of us. Never change, West Shine. I have always driven past this restaurant and always said that I would stop in but never got the opportunity to well today. My coworkers and I will try to think of a new place to get breakfast from so I suggested the West shine family restaurant and I am so happy I did. I got the chicken fried chicken, fried eggs and the breakfast potatoes are to die for the country gravy is very flavorful. This was an overall win!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
