We are available to deliver to you our (by now) world famous menu items such as the GENUINE Mother Burger. Probably the best thing since...forever! Our menu also offers you the choice of a daily meal for R40 of which we will donate R10 to feeding another hungry person in our community. So there you go...eat , drink and feed another very needy person, all from the comfort of your home (I know you miss the view - not long now and we will be open). Looking forward to your support.

Dining at Divine Foods at the View has been my worst dining experience ever, as the manager/owner was extremely passive aggressive towards us, profiled us and made many assumptions about us. My friends and I arrived at the restaurant and were temporarily allocated a table until the one we asked for was available. When moving to the table we asked for, the manager/owner came up to us and told us that we can’t just move on our own. We then told her that we had spoken to the waitress and they said we could move. She then told us that there are customers who make bookings so our moving may cause them not to get their table. We then told her that we actually did make a booking. And her response to us was “oh I see so you guys are playing musical chairs with your bum bums”. We then asked the waitress a question regarding a table which we believed was the actual one booked for us, but then our waitress ignored this and did not give a response. We eventually asked again and the waitress told us that the manager/owner told her to ask us “why?”. The manger/owner then came up to us again and instead of addressing our question, and in a demeaning tone she said “are you guys managing with so much food on your table”. The manager/owners passive aggression and statements towards us made our experience extremely uncomfortable, especially given that we were visiting the area all the way from Johannesburg and had made the booking more than a week before. I don’t know why she decided to be that way towards us specifically but it was a really terrible experience. Response to the response given by owner: The response given by the owner, below, is indicative of how little they regard customers who don’t give them great reviews. Instead of trying to remediate the issue they always provide a defensive reply to anyone who rates them low. Please filter for all the low ratings and see the responses given and you will see that they aren’t a customer satisfaction establishment but rather one that only thrives on good reviews and will fight low ones. I believe that you CHOSE your own table madam, even though there had been another table reserved for you - which you then promptly forfeited. You apparently INSISTED that the table you chose to sit at, was the one you were happy to spend the afternoon at. Not "temporarily allocated" - as you suppose. After being seated for some time, drinks served, orders taken, you then noticed the table next to you had a reserved sign on it, and you again, believed, it had been the table you had been booked at. What made you think that? You already had the best table in the house. I'm sure that you are restaurant savvy enough to know that you can't just move tables, because of your assumed belief systems. Due to the busyness of the long weekend, you must have also been aware of the number of people arriving and leaving, and therefore the reason for having to keep very sharp tabs on the reservation listings. The time frame of your reservation was during the PEAK preferred booking time, on a long weekend. All the waitrons on the floor were pretty busy with people quite content to be at the tables they were seated at. Anyway, after you have profiled my manager as "passive aggressive", and making assumptions that you and your party were being targeted, for no apparent reason, I do believe the scales are now evenly balanced. I also wish to inform you that we have people who make bookings 3 months in advance and travel 6000km to dine at the SAME table you did. It turns out, the waitron has never had such a terrible experience before, either.More

Do not eat here!!!! Just go look at the view and leave. The worst dining experience I have ever had! We were a table of 5. A beautiful view ruined by over priced food that was poor and disgusting. I ordered a Pina colada that came curdled and split. Multiple menus items not available. No home made cookie(as stated on the menu) with coffee that came cold. A Vietnamese coffee that had no condensed milk in it. A "specialty" milkshake where the only thing that was special was the extreme price. All of this I understood and accepted and tried to be understanding however the final straw was when the burger my wife ordered instead of having caramelized onions on it instead came with raw onion skin on it. Disgusting. When I attempted to make a complaint with the manager and detail our experience she became angry, defensive and argumentative. Trying to tell me that I am wrong when I was telling her about the experience I received. They eventually agreed to take the Pina colada and burger off the bill. In all honesty not a single drink or food item was good and everything was grossly over priced. Their signature special curry was not very good and extremely overpriced. My whole family felt ill after eating it. To and insult they include a service fee with their bill. We received no service so do don't know what the bill was for.
I warn you. Do not eat here!
