The pizza arrived only just warm. I called the store and was told that next time I could have something free, such as garlic bread. I explained that, as a regular customer who only orders pizza, offering me something I don’t usually order doesn’t really resolve the problem. I’m disappointed that there was no proper apology or offer to replace the pizza with a fresh, hot one. The whole ordering experience was also very poor. I had to make three separate calls just to place and pay for my order: 1. When I first called to place the order, I was told they were busy and would call me back in a few minutes. 2. After 20 minutes with no call back, I called again and was told they had taken my order but couldn’t take payment because they were too busy. 3. Around 30 minutes later, they finally called me for payment, at a time when I was in the middle of something else and had to stop what I was doing. The pizza then arrived on time, but was almost cold. Overall, this was a very poor experience from a well-known company. As a regular customer, I expected much better customer service and a proper response when the food arrived barely warm. I’m not a happy customer.
