I had sweet & sour chicken and let me tell you that it was the best sweet & sour chicken I ever had. I live about 40 miles from this place and I will eat here at least once a week... the egg rolls were awesome! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40

From the outside, Domo Japanese Grill looks pretty unassuming, with a sign that straight-up tells you it’s a “no frills” spot. Walking in, the place smelled amazing—but it was completely empty. For a second, we wondered if we’d made a mistake. Spoiler: we didn’t. We loved our food. We ordered a noodle dish, steak hibachi, and chicken, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. It had that real, homemade quality that some bigger hibachi places lack, and the prices were way better too. Honestly, this place is a hidden gem.
