Cuando planifiques tu viaje, no te olvides de Seabreeze Amusement Park y de elegir un sitio donde comer: este restaurante está justo al lado de ese lugar turístico. Disfruta de uno de los mejores placeres de esta vida: unos singulares perritos calientes, unas sabrosas cuerdas de cebolla y una perfectamente elaborada hamburguesa de ternera en agradable compañía. Pide su sorprendente crema de chocolate, su atrayente banana split y su casero postre de leche frita. En Don's Original, sus visitantes pueden tomar un excelente vino o una irresistible cerveza de raíz. The other day I happened to be in the city and the group decision found me at some random place eating a burger. It wasn't bad, but it was $20, and it also wasn't great, or even VERY good. A few days later I found myself at Don's. What a difference, and what a treat! My double cheeseburger was 15$. No fries included, $15 - just for the burger. That's a lot in my book. In the case of this burger, the saying is true, you get what you pay. The burger was sincerely terrific, and truly wonderful. It hurt my feelings to spend that much, and still it was worth it. Judging by the pile of folks lined up to get one, I'm not the only one who felt that way. The fries were ok, I actually expected more fries for the price. I loved the pickles. Very Good ingredients overall. Loganberry pop is a must get local treat you won't find other places. Service. They were so slammed I honestly felt sorry for the staff. They worked extremely hard and stayed calm despite some customers who were not emotionally prepared to deal with the chaos caused by an old fashioned (read outdated) physical footprint that is in no way prepared for that amount of traffic. Like the price, it was a lot of chaos, but I think the burger is worth it. It was that good. I loved that they served beer. I loved that the kids meal included a bit of the custard. We stayed for the setting sun, lake breeze, and the frozen custard. A combo that's tough to beat. I got the chocolate peanut butter and like the burger, It was excellent. I'm leaving a 3 for the atmosphere. But it is also a 5. I know that's confusing so I'll explain. The lake side location is terrific. The sinscere old fashioned throw back vibe is, like the burger, perfection. However, the hot direct sun, mild heat, and crowded atmosphere hurt my brain. The one tired AC, number of tables, and amount of support staff were clearly outgunned. That was part of the price to experience burger greatness. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

Delicious burger, and amazing, amazing highly almond-ed chocolate custard! Waitstaff were absolutely much, much better than any group of teens working at a burger joint have any right to be. I'll dock 1 star for atmosphere, because if you're going to charge $11.99 for a cheeseburger, I think the bathrooms and outdoor furniture can be in slightly better condition. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

This is my 4th and last time coming here. First time was on a frigid February Friday morning, ordered coffee and donuts and all was good. Unfortunately, the subsequent three visits got progressively worse. Visits #'s 2 and 3: Came here with my spouse for breakfast. The servers at the counter got the orders wrong both times and when we did receive the corrected orders the food was beyond greasy. Visit #4 I went solo for lunch, ordering a burger on a hard roll and a small fountain drink. Took a while for someone to even take my order and when my burger was ready the gal at the counter became busy cashing out someone that was purchasing candy. The cook saw my burger just sitting there and finally had another counter person get me my order which of course was WRONG because it was on a soft roll. The original counter gal then returned to place the burger on a hard roll and cashed me out. I went outdoors to eat the burger which by then had become cold and the hard roll was stale. This establishment has had a year to work out the kinks; we really wanted this place to do well; for us it just isn't happening. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
