The ramen here is top-notch. They offer great customization, allowing you to select your preferred noodle texture and broth richness. While it's a little more expensive than other ramen places in Sasebo's Yonkacho ginza, Doppo provides very rich and flavorful ramen with a fairly large portion size and high quality ingredients. I felt like I shouldn't waste any because it was so good, but it was somewhat challenging to finish it all with the large and filling portions offered. One of the best ramen shops in Sasebo. The store is a bit old and worn in the way that tells you it's going to be a great meal. A supremely rich and flavorful pork-based broth with fresh, springy Chinese-style noodles. There's no need to make the restaurant look nice because the only thing you'll care about is how delicious your food is. I'm not sure I could visit Doppo often because of the richness of the food and the somewhat limited hours of operation, but I'm very happy with my experience. The employees were warm and helpful.
