So, I’ve been here for breakfast which was very good, the duck butt muffins are excellent. This time did the very uniquely midwestern thing, and went for pizza at the farm. Best pizza in Beloit. It’s only available once a month, check their facebook page, and only during the summer months, but so worth it.

We have been several times as this is a well kept secret among locals, and us travelers who seek out places off the beaten path. You HAVE to get a duck butt muffin no matter how hungry you are—they’re just different and amazing! Could not recommend more!

We were going out to breakfast with our neighbors but the cafe in Afton was closed for vacation. Jim said "Let's try this Double B Farm Cafe that I've heard about." We said OK. Jim led us out there with the help of his SmartPhone. Hmmm, doesn't look like a restaurant to me. Gravel drive and parking lot. Chilly in the front table area, so we went in to a table closer to the kitchen. Wow. Great food. Nice sized portions. Very reasonable prices. And the friendliness of the staff and the farmers was real treat for us city folks.
