A significant delay with our food and had to ask where it was. A nearby table who ordered around the same time, literally minutes before us even though we sat down 10 minutes before them, and had similar meals, ate, paid, and left before our food arrived, and another table was seated in that time. We were told there was only one chef, which is understandable, but it was frustrating to then see him on the floor chatting during a busy service. The explanation that it was “just a busy lunch” repetively by the ?supervisor didn’t account for the clear inconsistency in order times. I tried to give valid reasons like maybe the docket got lost but she kept saying it was a busy lunch service. I worked in hospitality for many years in busy places and it makes no sense for there to be around a 25 minute food arrival between two tables who ordered close together unless the food is different, it wasn’t much different. If we had just been told sorry there’s been a delay/ mistake we would have been cool. The food was average. The garlic fries came out plain, and the chicken burger had very little chicken. The beetroot dish lacked flavour. Drinks were good. The Staff were mostly nice and polite (especially the new girl who checked on us a few times when we had raised the issue) and the supervisor did remove some items from the bill, which I appreciated, but there should have been better communication and awareness when customers are waiting an excessive amount of time and don’t give us a rubbish excuse, how will prevent it from happening again then. Disappointing experience, especially as it was my birthday. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £30–40

Overpriced and overrated.Menu is tiny and everything tastes processed.Had mushroom on toast,ridiculously expensive, bland, and poorly made.Doesn’t feel like anything is actually cooked fresh.No value at all,just hype. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Yasir, thanks for taking the time out of your day to leave 3 separate 1 star reviews, id just like to point out... mushrooms on toast isn't on our menu and hasn't been for a number of months, however thanks for pointing out that its still on our website, where youve clearly found this random piece of information, upon review of cctv, you wouldnt happen to the gentleman who was walking down the ormeau road, hurling abuse,/ threats at a member of our team would you ? also you've not been in this Premises today either, all the best yours sincerely, the over priced Drip belfast,

Called in for a long anticipated visit to drip yesterday. The atmosphere's very lively and friendly and seems to offer a place for everyone. A great variety of menu options if you're after something light, filling, sweet or savoury. The staff are attentive and very personable. Food, coffee and service was top-tier. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
