Pretty chill Irish pub. I accidentally discovered this place while looking for a bar nearby. Best part was that I could bring my own food. Felt it to be a great place for a week evening or even a Friday evening hang. Price per person: $10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went to The Dubliner in Dallas with friends during St. Patrick’s Day festivities and the place had a lot of potential, obviously. The bartenders were fine and we were spending money at the bar with no issues. Unfortunately the door staff completely ruined the experience. Around 1:45 AM they started grabbing drinks out of people’s hands and dumping them in the trash while yelling at everyone to leave. There was no warning or last call conversation to our group before this happened. One of the drinks they took even had my personal koozie on it that I brought with me. What made it worse was that the guys doing it were laughing about the situation while they were taking people’s drinks. I worked in the bar industry for many years as both a bartender and manager, so I understand closing procedures, but this was handled in a very unprofessional way. It turned what should have been a fun St. Patrick’s celebration into a pretty negative experience. Ownership should seriously look into how their door staff treats customers at closing time, poorly reflecting this establishment. Price per person: $50–60 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
