I visited this restaurant for dinner with my wife during our trip. I would describe it as an Asian fusion restaurant rather than an authentic one. We ordered the Tonkatsu Curry with Rice and the Fried Ebi with Rice, both of which came with a selection of side dishes. The presentation was nice, and the portions were satisfying. As Asians, the flavours reminded us of the kind of homemade meals we used to prepare when studying abroad in Europe—comforting and familiar, but not quite authentic. If you’re craving Asian food while travelling and simply want something that feels close to home, this restaurant does a good job of satisfying that craving. However, those looking for traditional Asian flavours may find the dishes a little different from what they expect. Overall, this is a pleasant place for Asian travellers who miss the taste of home or for anyone interested in trying an Asian fusion interpretation of Japanese comfort food.
