Lovely service here! Not much to offer in terms of sweet wines, which is disappointing for a hotel bar. I had omitted reviewing here from a while back so perhaps they have widened their selection since. I am not at this end of the city much but I would definitely go back. Never underestimate being served a spirit in a nice, good quality, spotless glass! The memory of this remains. Nice place to go for a quiet drink if you're avoiding heaving CBD bars.

Leading into the expansive lobby of the Duxton Hotel this bar is a great little meeting place before or after dinner. With an expansive beer selection we were happy to sample one of the local favourites and were impressed with the service too.

One of two bars off the impressive lobby of the Duxton, the Lobby Bar has seating inside as well as an outdoor area looking out to St Georges Terrace. We picked one of the few rainy summer evenings so stayed inside where it was packed with parents preparing for the arrival of their daughters for a school ball. Despite the crowd service was prompt and cheerful. A good range of beer wine and cocktails are on offer...our glass of Bella Ridge rosé hit the spot...tropical fruit and citrus aromas raspberry flavours crisp and dry. The Lobby Bar is a great little spot for a drink and to chill out.
