Super impressed. We came here for a birthday dinner and we had a stellar time. Shawn was a fantastic waiter and the other servers were also attentive and informative. We had the $95 let us cook for you and it was delicious. Loved the Bone Marrow Elk Tartare and the Crab toast. The lab skewers were also tender and yummy. As was the popcorn dessert. We haven't had a great meal like this in a long time. One of our new favourite places. Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Went for hubby’s birthday. I was hesitant from a bit bc of mixed reviews on red note. Glad I didn’t trust them. We had a great time! Creative cocktails ! Delicious food! all staff were very friendly! All and all, we’d love to come back again!!!! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

ELEM was a surprising delight from start to finish. I’ve been to a good number of fine dining spots in Vancouver, and to be honest wasn’t expecting much. But I was blown away. It was a beautiful mix of the chef’s culture and modern dining. I didn’t feel like I was eating “yet another fancy steak” or a flavor that felt repetitive. Our entire table could not believe how good each dish was as it came out - the elk marrow and lamb skewers were our favorites by far. The taste and texture were well thought out, and I can’t help but see all the time and technique that went into this. The one dish that fell short (and honestly was good on its own, but compared to everything else just didn’t shine as much) was the chicken with wild asparagus. The mocktails and dessert were also a delight! Everything worked together, and we were stuffed by the end of it all. Finally, I’m not one to care too much about atmosphere or service (some of the best places to eat in the city don’t care much about it either), but this place was gorgeous. I felt comfortable, yet the space was so elevated I couldn’t help but look around and enjoy the vibes.
