Easy tiger isn’t what it used to be, especially this location. The staff is great but they seem to be bewildered by the brunch rush hours. Let’s take breakfast taco. Order is counter or on your phone. For $4, it’s a tortilla with eggs (that’s it). The gas station taco would have potatoes or bacon. But hey, Let’s say you want some protein $2 extra. So if you decided not to tip yourself or your phone for making the order and making sure it’s correct, they are asking a $6 breakfast taco. But hey. You are paying for the atmo and service! Here is the thing. You can wait an arbitrary amount of time but it’s always too long. Your friend burger who ordered after you may come out in 15 min while you taco is a 45 min (maybe they lost the bacon?). The coffee may come out before the food, or after your finished it. The taco may come out with or without egg (depending on who made it, maybe?) and may or may not have sauce (it’s a fun game, you never know what you actually going to get) And staff will be perpetually confused about who ordered what and how because the person delivered the food is from the kitchen and not someone who took your order. So pray, and really pray if you have allergies, that what you ordered is that you gonna have. I am stunned by what easy tiger (acquired by private equity) is getting away with. I think we are once again experiencing the enshittification of a once a great business.

Easy Tiger South Lamar in Austin, Texas is a must-visit spot for all foodies! The bakery offers delicious pastries and bread, while the beer garden serves up tasty sausages and pretzels.
