Not sure how you can mess up 2 salads but they did. Literally all we got was plain salad and 1 dressing. We are all for helping out local places during covid, but even after walking in with the incorrect items the cashier was beyond befuddled. Walked out, bought extras at the grocery store and ate our salads. Lesson learned... even if you are totally whooped - make it yourself and don't count on this eat-n-park.
This is probably the most disappointing experience I've ever had at an Eat'N Park and this location by South Hills Mall has definitely gone down hill. We ate here on 9/23/17 with 2 children, 2 women. Our meals were a chicken salad and the new breaded shrimp dinner with 2 kids meals. These items probably take less than 15 mins to put together. We waited 45 minutes. To top it off, when I received this shrimp dinner it was disgusting as it seemed as if the cook dumped an excessive amount of Old Bay seasoning on it that completely ruined my appetite and stomach the rest of the night. There was so much on it that it burnt my mouth. I might as well have ate spoonfuls of Old Bay as I could not taste any shrimp at all. The rice and broccoli was also super dry. As Eat N Park is a basic diner, I realize that, however being in the restaurants for years its been an okay meal for the price. Not going back here. It wasn't even busy at this time might I add. The wait time and food quality was terrible. Our waitress was friendly and that was the only positive thing.
