The jar the lemonade came in was so cute! Too bad you can't keep it... Parking: We found a really good spot just on the street. Hope you're lucky when you're parking! Kid-friendliness: My brother came and everyone was so nice. We got lunch here on a road trip. Lovely place, clean bathroom. The country potatoes were excellent just like the bread pudding. The lemonades came in big mason jars - super fun. The cheese in my omelette was Velveeta, I think - that was disappointing. And also, the whipped cream on my daughter's waffle was some sort of ready whip. Oh well. Luck was shining on me today. The wife and I were traveling through Auburn and decided to stop for lunch in Old Town Auburn. Just as I was turning to leave, a car backed out of a street parking spot. I didn't look a gift horse in the mouth and immediately parked. I asked the wife where she wanted to go and she said "why not here"? I looked up and saw the front window of Edelweiss restaurant. Interior was interesting as it tried to be rustic Bavarian. Food was fantastic. Wife ordered a BLT with fries and I ordered an omelette. The BLT came out exactly as the wife ordered. The omelette and hash browns covered the plate. Whole the egg part of the omelette was dry although the interior ingredients were well prepared. Overall a very good breakfast/lunch restaurant.
