Since new management has taken over the food has really improved. I prefer this than shavans in Patterson lakes. It has more meat and tastier curries. You can eat in, not very atmospheric so it's more of a takeaway business.

Tried the butter chicken and masala with nan bread and was extremely impressed! Usually head to shavans in patterson lakes but opted for tandoori Pavillon as they are a lot cheaper and closer! Best decision ever, their curries were better than shavans the chicken was tender with no fat and full of flavour! Was so happy the first time that I had to get it again a week later.. The curry was just as good however was very disappointed with the Roti. I ordered the tandoori garlic Roti and was given just plain hard stale Roti that had no flavour. Unfortunately it was takeaway so could not go back and complain. Next time I will just stick to garlic nan.

This place has been taken over by new management and they have really stepped up their game, rebranding themselves from 'Edithvale curry house' to 'tandoori pavilion'

This is the closest Indian delivery option for us so we are very glad it has improved, we usually order through menulog or delivery hero, depending on what deals are on at the time.

The dishes for takeaway are wrapped carefully and individually in glad wrap to avoid spilling. The portion size and meat to curry ratio was pretty good, with good clean cuts of chicken, lamb and beef.

The first time after the new management took over, we tried this place and we were blown away with the Garlic naan however after trying the garlic naan again, it did not live up to it, it was flat, dry and flavourless whilst the time before it was, fluffy with crispy outer layer, with a rich garlic taste. It seems like the garlic naan is hit and miss which is a shame because consistency with a staple like that is important for takeaway shops.

The meals are a about $13 each which is about average price for takeaway dishes, be it Indian or Asian etc.

The delivery is prompt and no money exchange is needed if paid for online. Will try these guys again as they are the only close local option but hopefully the are more consistent next time.
