Definitely my favorite cafe in town! I come here every week. The owners are incredibly welcoming and kind not to mention EVERY drink I’ve tried has been so amazing. My favorites are the red bean hojicha, strawberry jasmine matcha, and pandan matcha. I love how the drinks are not too sweet; all are very well balanced. All the flavors are also so fresh and make me feel incredibly nostalgic in the best way. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

So I gave this place a shot because of all the glowing reviews turns out “overrated” is the real specialty here. I ordered the red bean latte and got a lovely mix of milk, foam, and a mystery flavor—maybe red bean, maybe just a whisper of very bland vanilla. Truly a surprise every sip. Still trying to figure out what all the hype is about. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

To begin, I genuinely really love this place. Eiar Studio is a beautiful, warm, and kind environment. It's evident from the moment you step inside that the owners poured a lot of love and care into crafting such a great place, whether you stop by to quickly buy a drink or spend the evening there studying/working or relaxing. They put that same loving energy into making sure their customers are happy, that their drinks are perfect, their candles are divine, and that everyone receives a warm welcome. I'm truly so grateful that my friend discovered them and we've been loyal to them since (pretty much) their first $5 Hojicha Sunday. As someone who has had basically every drink on their menu (and even had some secret items hehe), I can say without a doubt that they are ALL very good. Also, as others have stated, you are able to customize sweetness based on your own tastes and the owners are very receptive to feedback! Overall, I think Davis is very lucky to have such a great place in the neighborhood and I know that I am very happy to have found them. Truly, Eiar Studio is a gem to D St!
