This has always been our go-to ice cream stop when visiting the beautiful old town of Rosenheim. I have two kids, and as any parent knows, choosing the right flavor — and deciding between a cup or a waffle cone — can be a little adventure in itself! This time, I gave them money and let them order on their own, which they did wonderfully. After picking up our ice creams, we noticed several empty tables (at least three or four) and sat at one of them to enjoy our treats. However, a waitress soon came over and asked us to leave the table because we had ordered at the counter. Her tone and attitude felt unnecessarily rude, and it left us feeling quite uncomfortable. There was also no English-speaking staff, which made it harder to communicate and added to the tension. I believe when there’s a language barrier, a bit more patience and kindness goes a long way — unfortunately, that wasn’t the case during our visit.
