I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the patatas bravas and our house wine, though I'm sorry that several aspects of your experience fell short of expectations.I did want to address your comment regarding the paella being burnt. What you experienced was likely the socarrat, the crispy, caramelized layer of rice that forms at the bottom of the pan. Socarrat is considered one of the most prized elements of an authentic Spanish paella, adding texture and depth of flavor to the dish. That said, we understand that not everyone enjoys it, and we're always happy to prepare a paella with little or no socarrat if requested.I'm also sorry that the service did not feel as welcoming as it should have. The server who took care of your table is newer to our team, and we are actively working with her to ensure she meets the hospitality standards we strive for at El Raval. Your comments regarding attentiveness, table maintenance, and overall presentation are valuable and will be part of that coaching.We appreciate your honest feedback and hope you'll consider giving us another opportunity in the future.
