I ordene una orden de tostadas de ceviche de pescado, tacos de pescado y enchiladas de pollo verdes, para llevar, todo está delicioso, lo único que no me gustó es que las tostadas están muy chiquitas. Mi esposo estuvo muy contento con el sabor pero las tostadas tan chiquitas no le alcanzaron para lleñarse, pero todo está muy bueno. El Rey Restaurant and Bar went out of there way to help me, they treated me with kindness, food was outstanding, and the owner LITERALLY gave me the shirt(jacket) off his back. I'm from Fresno, and I accidentally got stranded in Delano, and when I discovered there was no bus station, my phone was dead, on top of being soaked head to toe. Nothing was even open, except for El Ray's, but that's all I needed. He allowed me to charge my phone, so I ordered an Ice cold, I guess it would be like a tall boy Pilnser, bud- light, the days 5$ special, while my phone charged. There was apparently a party, so the mood was up- beat and festive. As I spoke with the owner, relaying my story, he understood my predicament and as a kind and caring person would do, he hooked me up with some of the best Mexican food I've had in awhile, a Lil bit of everything, and when it was clothing time I asked if maybe there was something dry I could wear in lost and found, he went to look and a few minutes later said no there wasn't, but I could have his jacket. He didn't have to do that, I got myself in the bad situation, but he said it's what he hoped someone would do for him. I gratefully took it, the food, and obviously survived the night to be writing this review. So if you want the best music, the best food and drinks, but also the best people? Then there's only one place to go in Delano, Ca. And that's El Ray's Restaurant and Bar.
