***PRIVATE CLUB*** If you weren't invited, you will not be let in. It's been that way since the 1800's. Great place with great people. If you have the opportunity to be invited, you should definitely go and enjoy the lineage. Not many places left that run solely from the charity and hard work of the members to upkeep such an amazing place with such history. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $100+ Recommendation for vegetarians: Not sure Vegetarian offerings: Not sure

When you think private club of any kind, you already have an expectation of not belonging, even at events hosting the public. That couldn't be farther from the truth. Genuinely good people, doing good things, making everyone feel welcome. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

A fine establishment. The Club is like a Wisconsin Supper Club in Illinois. Good food, good folks and always a good time - The Elgin Riverside Club is a friendly place to channel your inner midwesterner and chat it up with someone you just met. The club is open to the public on the first Friday of the month for a fish fry, stop in for some fun!
