Magnífico restaurante de comida de Cerdeña. Servicio impecable, platos exquisitos y abundantes. El tiramisú estaba de muerte.

We had initially planned a very pleasant evening in the company of a couple of friends whom we had not had the pleasure of seeing for a long time. Our choice was for a pleasant evening around delicious Italian dishes, carefully selected to create an atmosphere conducive to reunions. Unfortunately, this evening quickly turned into a real nightmare. We were initially unaware that the room was located upstairs, offering the possibility of bringing together large tables. Although it may seem friendly at first, the mood was quickly compromised. Everyone was already talking very loudly, but to top it all off, five individuals sat down at the next table right after we arrived and started yelling. It was not just a lively conversation, but rather shrill screams, thunderous laughter covering the entire space of the restaurant, without the slightest interruption. The screams were so deafening that it was impossible for us to converse, even at a distance of 20 centimeters from each other. Unfortunately, our polite requests to the five individuals to moderate their volume were met with an aggressive response. It almost seemed like we had to apologize for being present in this restaurant, where apparently the well-being of the customers was not a priority. I still believed in a certain amount of decency and education when dining in public, but it seems that's not the case everywhere. This situation would not be disturbing if we were expecting a noisy atmosphere in a cider house type restaurant, for example, where the festive side is predictable. However, in general we are informed in advance of the sound level in the room. So, consider yourself warned: If you enjoy shouting, screaming, laughing and partying in groups of 10, 15 or 20 people, this is the ideal place for you! If you are looking for a quiet romantic dinner or a pleasant evening with friends to chat over a good meal at the end of the week, it is better to go your way, because it risks turning into a real nightmare. Don't even count on help from the waiters, because they either can't do anything or don't want to do anything. Judgment will be yours. For us, the decision has been made: although the cuisine at Elio's Ristorante is excellent, we will unfortunately no longer frequent this establishment.
