While I had been recommended to visit Ella's Pizza for a long time, the overall experience was just okay and definitely not family-friendly. The vibe is perfect for a young adult crowd, but the service was poor, and the food fell short, especially for the kids, who did not like their pasta and personal pizza. The thin-crust pizza was decent, though you will need to order more than one to full satisfy a group, and the cocktails were the best part. The arancini were disappointing and served cold, leaning into a massive, Americanized style rather than traditional Italian rice balls. Ultimately, I will not be coming back with my family, but I would return exclusively with friends to grab a drink and share some pizza. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Demographics should not matter, but I think it’s important to note that I am 73 years old. I have eaten in restaurants all over the country and all over the world for that matter. I ordered the spiced rigatoni I have never in my life seen such a small serving. We laughed at it. It looked like a children serving as for the quality of food marginal at best yes it’s next-door to the Paramount, but I suggest you walk a little further and find another place. This place is definitely sub par!! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

We tried this place for the first time because we had a show at the theater next door. We looked up the menu online in advanced before we went but when we got there a lot of the items on the menu weren't on the menu anymore. It felt like we were missing half our menu. After we got our drinks we asked the waitress and she said the head chef was out. I can totally understand being short staffed and not being able to do everything on the menu. I wasn't upset over that. We were annoyed no one said anything before hand. We had a reservation and we even called 30 mins before hand to confirm. It would have been nice if they said something about it then. At the very least we expected them to let us know when we first walked in and talked to the hostess or maybe even our waitress saying something when she first came over to us. We had to ask them first. Even after we asked they didnt say sorry or even seemed like they cared. No sincere or even an apology at all. They just said oh he's out we cant make those items. I have food restrictions so I look at menus before hand so I can make sure I can eat there. Of course what I was going to eat was off the menu. Luckily there was one other item I could eat that was available. If that item wasn't there I wouldn't have been able to eat. It would have been nice if they told use before we sat down about half the menu not being available. People have food restrictions and even if they didnt you should tell people when you cant cook a large portion of the menu.
