Went here for a couple of sausage sizzles but didn’t have any cash on me. Was told I could go inside to pay with their eftpos machine. Went in and was told outside is ‘cash only’. I tried to explain that unfortunately I didn’t have cash on me and the only response given was another ‘cash only’ in a ‘didn’t you hear me the first time’ kind of attitude. It’s a shame because I always go here and tell others about their great products and produce, but the poor attitude and service I experienced really left me feeling a bit pee’d off. Here I am trying to give you business and you turn me away. On top of that, we all pay our taxes and contribute to the community. Why is it that you feel the need to run a ‘cash only’ side business. Poor form and I won’t be back - all over a few cents you would’ve saved on the transaction fees or not having to pay taxes.

Usually come on weekends to have their bratwurst sausage with sour kraut roll. It’s always no fresh and delicious. I can smell a street away!

While the smallgoods are a little on the pricey side, there's no doubt that this adorable German butcher makes the greatest sandwiches on Beaufort Street. Excellent crunchy bread rolls with your choice of meat, from schnitzel to goulash to roast, with a sizeable selection of salads. Big enough to share, too!

Their sausage rolls are the best in the state.
Flaky, buttery pastry, and savoury, flavourful filling. Wonderful.

A veritable institution is the weekend hangover cure of bratwurst and sauerkraut that can be bought from the street in the biggest griddle you'll ever see.
