Elmina is a standout East African spot. Their crab and egg fried rice was the highlight—flavorful, slightly spicy, and amazingly fresh with no seafood smell. We also tried the chimnga: the pork belly was incredibly delicious, and the beef was great too. The staff is warm and attentive, and the cocktails are worth it—Tree of Life was excellent. Food was amazing, would definitely recommend the tasting. Kayla our server was great very informative and answered all our questions, she did an amazing job at describing the dishes. Kayla was able to have a modification made for my husband on his desert after we had placed our initial order, which made him extremely happy. She made us feel very welcome and at home. The only thing I would change was the location of our table, we were at a table that was against and open to the kitchen. Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

e food was well prepared and tasted amazing. Our server was very attentive. However we were there to celebrate a 30th birthday which was noted on the reservation. The hostess even commented on the birthday at check in. It would have been nice if it was acknowledged at the table. I believe they did not communicate with our server. Entree portion sizes were good but overall the restaurant was too bright and lacking in atmosphere. Other portions in the menu were very small. For the price point I think they could improve. That being said I will reiterate that the food was innovative and delicious Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2
