I basically ran the gamut here. I experienced early morning to late night. Emerald Restaurant and Lounge resides inside the Sheraton Midwest City Hotel at Reed Conference Center. So unless you are staying at the hotel, it's probably not on your radar to try. Let's speak first of the breakfast fare here. Each morning they serve a buffet style breakfast. Cost is $11 (not included if you are a guest at the hotel). This buffet breakfast offers the usual that you would expect for breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, make your own waffle station, biscuits and gravy, cereal, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee. Although not the most amazing spread, it is still filling. One evening while staying here I decided to dine in house instead of trying to find a place nearby. Very small menu to choose from, but not that bad either. They stretch it when it comes to what they offer. Appetizers, sandwiches and big plates of food. I decided to go with a Build Your Own Burger option. Basically just like any other place when you order a burger. Choose everything that you want on it and they cook it and bring it out. The burger is quite massive. I topped mine with American cheese, lettuce, pickle tomato, mayo and onion. The vegetables were fresh and crisp adding flavor to each bite of the burger. The bun was toasted and ready to soak up any drippings that came off the burger. The burger was served with a side of fries. Typical fries you could find anywhere, crispy and I think they were double fried. Dessert is a thing that you have to enjoy when you are out of town. So I decided to indulge myself a bit. I got myself the Molten Lava Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream. When you think of this you think it's going to be a nice piece of cake with hot fudge seeping out from the inside. Well they decided to take this is a different direction here. Theirs is nothing more than a mini bundt cake filled with hot fudge. Once a side was taken it made for a flood of hot fudge on the plate and a mess to eat. But with the sweetness, it was all good. As far as late night here, it is kind of a blast. Especially if you were here with people you know. The bartenders are amazing and very talkative. Although they may not have every single alcohol available, they do their best at making a killer drink. Only downside to this is that they called last call at one. There is also a patio right outside of the restaurant area. I am assuming that you are able to dine outside if you feel so intended, but I really didn't notice that much. If you are so inclined to order room service while staying at the Sheraton, this is where the food will be coming from.
