Place is owned by a lovely couple who treated us very warmly and gave us time to slowly google translate the menu and decided on what to eat. Food were fantastic - okonomiyaki was plump and full of fresh ingredients (we ordered the seafood one with pork), local pork steak was juicy and best of all, the grilled cuttlefish tentacles skewers were just heavenly. The lady owner was very nice to gift my kid a packet of corn chips after dinner as a snack too :) One of our best finds in the area and we would highly recommend this fabulous local restaurant. A cosy little restaurant tucked in an alley next to the train station, serving delicious and reasonably-priced Teppanyaki faire, paired with super-warm and attentive service. Highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The owners of Emon are a lovely couple who made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. We were greeted with big smiles and seated right at the bar, which made the experience even more special. They both speak a little English, so we could chat with them easily — it was fun and made us feel right at home. All the food was carefully cooked, tasted incredibly fresh, and was full of flavor. We also tried some local sake, which paired perfectly with our meal. The atmosphere inside was lively, cozy, and warm — you can really feel the owners’ passion for what they do. We highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area and looking for a delicious meal and genuine local hospitality! Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
