We went for a walk with #Bigfoot, #Littlefeet and the grandparents at Rottachsee and were looking for a table for dinner in the early evening. The Landgasthof Engel made a good impression on us and it was open, so after a quick phone call we were able to have dinner there later. The cuisine is delicious and regional. In addition to meat such as roast pork, there is also vegetarian cuisine. By 6 o'clock, the restaurant and the parlours were filling up noticeably. The food and drinks were good. Only the service could have been a bit friendlier. As we couldn't manage everything, we wanted to have the rest of the food packed, but then we had to do it ourselves. We've experienced this a few times now. Could be due to hygiene regulations. Be that as it may, overall we were happy to have got a place at short notice. There were pictures of old tractors in the toilets, so #Bigfoot and #Littlefeet took a little longer. We can't say anything about the hotel, except that there is a shooting range for the local shooting club in the basement and a large hall for events on the first floor. We are happy to recommend this country inn. Service: 4
