I was in the area and decided to give Exploding Flavors a try! It’s located inside Hickory Hill Mall and is literally the only restaurant in the mall, with the exception of a dessert spot right next door. Everything is cooked to order, so don’t expect to run in and out—there will be a wait! It looked like they also offer delivery through DoorDash and/or Uber Eats because I saw several people coming in to pick up orders and showing their phones. The menu was surprisingly broad! They have tons of wing flavors, along with sandwiches, pasta, loaded potatoes, and desserts. I ordered the 10-piece Lemon Pepper Zang wings with okra and a piece of honeybun cake. My food took about 30 minutes, but EVERYTHING was extremely fresh! The okra was seasoned to perfection, and the wings were fried nice and crispy, just how I like them. But the STAR OF THE SHOW?! That honeybun cake!!! It was SOOOOO good—moist, sweet, and absolutely worth breaking my diet for! I’m honestly glad I don’t live close because I would be back weekly just for that cake alone! The service was great, and there’s plenty of room to sit and eat since the mall itself is pretty quiet. I’m so glad I decided to give Exploding Flavors a try. I’ll definitely be back to try some of the other items on their menu! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

1st time going will definitely NOT BE MY LAST. The 333 Potatoe was everything and more ANNNNND excellent customer service was provided. Keep in mind the food is made fresh to order, so there's a little well worth it wait time. Food: 5 Service: 5
