I love Fishi Sushi. Been on Wolkerová street for a long time. It was always a visit to a magical restaurant and a little holiday. Today, a nice guest to whom we wanted to show Olomouc decided to go to Fishi Sushi, even though it's a bit out of hand for us. The environment lost its charm for me and the first thing that caught my attention on the table was a cheesy lamp from Jisk. It was a few minutes before 12 and we landed in a place where one could dream of a quiet time for lunch. Just a restaurant. We waited ten minutes to order food. I knew from the menu what I wanted, what I liked, however when I wanted to order - it was explained to me that I could ONLY choose from the 4 menu dishes because it was noon. So why did you present me with the entire menu? I'm sorry, but in a restaurant where the lunch menu exceeds 200 CZK, it is a foul to present some kind of paper with a feather attached to the mat. At first I was taken aback, I didn't want ramen, I didn't want rice, I wanted the pasta and sesame chicken that I love going back to. I'm really not an expert on foreign cuisine - I would appreciate it all the more if the staff could tell me what is hidden under this or that name. However, when I asked if I could have something with chicken, I was offered a lunch poke bowl. I still got a chance to casually ask - isn't the rice dry - after which the lady offered me a tartare - it made me quite unsure. OK, I think to myself, it's a menu, I guess it's to get rid of it at noon. And yes, we waited a respectable 30 minutes for our food!! Suddenly, a bowl of cold rice landed on my table with heaps of corn, cabbage, cucumbers and fried onions on it. Then a few pieces of chicken in the corner. Everything absolutely cold - for me the pinnacle of gastronomy. No, I'm not biased, the other 3 dishes were also cold at the time of serving and everyone agreed that it was an interesting starter, as evidenced by the portion size for 210 CZK. For a while I thought it was just a dream - that small magical restaurant with nice service, where the food was always an experience, will remain in our beautiful memories. Thanks for that. But this really didn't work! If I leave over 1200 CZK in a restaurant for 4 menus and leave disappointed - I most likely won't come back... --- Dear Ms. Navratilova, I really appreciate your answer. Following on from it, I will allow myself one more reaction. If you call what I saw today a new concept, then everything is explained. I understand that now. But I guess I don't understand why you present the whole menu to the guests, when they can only choose from the "front page" which is just one sheet of paper. Well, I'll skip all that. If you remember the Czech ready meals - then I don't understand what you were preparing for 30 minutes with a bowl of cold rice and a pile of corn from a can, and some chopped cucumbers and cabbage. I'm sorry, but this was a real foul today. If you bring a guest who cannot eat rice due to a medical condition and does not want soup for lunch - then you really had no choice! And that's sad. I dare to contradict you - the waiter really offered me a tartare. Registering my astonishment, the lady said she could still put soy sauce or eel sauce in there. Believe me me and the wife heard very well. We really enjoyed going to your restaurant. Today, the price-performance ratio is a severe imbalance. And believe me, I'm very sorry, we went through half of Olomouc and I ended up feeling a little embarrassed before the visit. Hopefully my review will be a way to improve and bring back what we valued at Fishi Sushi. And they often took home a glass of delicious kimchi. I wish you much success. We prepare all the dishes after ordering, they are not Czech ready-made dishes that are simply put on a plate, so it is understandable that in a full restaurant, and today it was fully occupied during lunch, their preparation takes a few minutes. According to your reaction, you ordered a poke bowl, a dish that is normally served cold, it is a bowl of sushi rice with other ingredients, the waiter did not fill you with tartare, but with Japanese mayonnaise, which is usually served as a garnish.
