I had a very disappointing experience with this place. I had made a confirmed reservation, received email with information how to get there on the day of arrival, only to arrive late in the evening and find out that my booking had been canceled — without any prior notice, email, call, or explanation. This level of communication is unacceptable. Not only was I left stranded, but the staff offered no real assistance in helping me find an alternative. There was no apology, no sense of responsibility, and no compensation for the inconvenience. Edit: if the booking was automatically accepted by booking.com why did we get message from you how to get there? By the way that means you did have a way to contact us! We didn't call you that late it was between 9 and 10pm and hotel didn't look like it was fully booked there was maybe 5 cars on the park lot and many more rooms Service: 1

This booking was accepted by booking.com. The Falcon was fully booked, this was not The Falcon’s mistake. Booking.com cancelled the booking and they emailed me and the guest to say it had been cancelled. I also tried to contact the client but there was no answer to call or text to advise him (I did not need to do this) I received a call late at night ( I had been sleeping) saying that he had arrived, I politely told him I had no rooms and to speak to booking.com - at no point in time was I rude Reply to your edit 1)The message with directions is an automatic message which is sent when my guests book through booking.com 2) we were fully booked - why would we not give you a room if we had one available ?

We booked to stay here on a last minute trip away. We were made very welcome on our arrival, the owner couldn't be more helpful. The room was very clean and tidy, lovely shower and had everything you would need. We had a helpful book containing all the local trips to visit and any information for our stay. There are some lovely local walks nearby and we were recommended to see Waterfall country which is a must see if you are visiting the area, only a half hour drive away. We didn't have time to check out the bar or have any food but that also looked very inviting. We had our our dog with us which he was also made very welcome. Would deffinatley recommend to stay here, had a lovely relaxing time and would deffinatley stay here again in the future. Thanks falcon inn for your lovely accommodation :)
