This is the place, where you want to spend just one whole daythe nice owner is totally helpful, you have everything you need here. Drinks, fresh also a food. You can rent a towels if you need, and the price for and umbrella and 2 beds is 10€ Price per person: €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First of all, the private Faliraki beach bar should not be confused with the neighboring Emerald beach bar. The locations (August 2023) are not correctly marked on Google Maps. Faliraki is north of the Emerald Bar. Emerald belongs to the Angsana resort, is annoying with loud music, is totally overpriced and has arrogant staff. So here's Faliraki: Cristina and Wassilis have been running the bar since 1987, but Vasili's father has had an apartment here since 1960. Incidentally, an interesting family history, Kaiser Wilhelm II was his father's godfather, but that's just by the way. You can tell that the two extremely likeable operators put their heart and soul into the bar. Everything is very clean and tidy, whether it's the kitchen, terrace, toilets or the beach. It's simple, nothing styled like next door at Emerald, but that's what makes it so charming. Lots of greenery, vines grow above the terrace, there is even a small library with books in German, English and Dutch. The beach chairs with an umbrella cost €10 per day, a fair price. There is wifi which also works on the beach, the beach itself is rocky. Although this has the disadvantage that you should wear bathing shoes, it also has the advantage of crystal-clear water. The water on the sandy beach is usually cloudy. Cristina and Wassilis are extremely warm hosts, who also take care of your physical well-being with simple but tasty dishes and the best shakes, frappés and espresso freddos. At the weekend, daughter Alexandra and son Wilhelm also help out, we hope that one day they will take over the business.
